Disordered Eating/Eating Disorders

GT Eating Disorder Treatment Team

Our multidisciplinary team is made up of representatives from Medicine, Psychiatry, Women’s Health, Nutrition, and the GT Counseling Center.  We identify students with symptoms of an eating disorder, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge eating, and overeating disorders, and create individualized treatment plans.  The treatment plan typically consists of nutrition assessments, as well as medical and psychiatric evaluations and treatment.
